READ: WILLIAMSON COUNTY PRECINCT TWO COMMISSIONER CYNTHIA LONG'S LETTER TO THE TCEQ
Thank you Commissioner Long for pointing out the lack of public utilities at the proposed Exfluor site, and asking TCEQ to thoroughly review Exfluor's draft air quality permit, while considering neighborhood concerns regarding compatible land use and potential water and air contamination.
Thank you, COMMISSIONER LONG!

"I am elected to represent individuals in Precinct Two of Williamson County, which includes the area on County Road 236 where Exfluor Research Corporation is requesting permit number 165848 to be approved, allowing a chemical manufacturing site to be created. This area of the county is primarily residential and agricultural in nature. There are no public utilities available, therefore, homes in this area of my precinct are on septic systems, with wells for their family's water source. Many of my constituents are concerned that relocation of the Exfluor Corporation's chemical manufacturing site will over tax the water supply and not be a cohesive use with current property owners in the area. Additionally, they are concerned about any spills or biproducts of production that could potentially contaminate the water supply and air. "
